Planning Ideas use a variety of 3d files. The preferred method is using Project Matrix Symbols (and the Project Symbol Extension with CET). Additionally, we can use Sketchup symbols and 3D CAD, with limited features.
Yes! Finishes and finish grades can be changed in CET if the symbols are Project Symbols. However, items created using Sketchup will not be editable.
Unless otherwise requested, upholstery finishes are a Grade 2 or 3 (consistently through the project), and laminates and paints are Grade 1.
Yes! CET has an incredible modeling component that includes architectural walls, ceilings, flooring, and accessories. If you want these elements included, please let us know!
Furniture manufacturer showroom plans from NeoCon are great resources and Office Snapshots are great resources for inspiration. We encourage you to start with images from these websites (and many others). Mark up the images with the lines you want to represent, and we can work from there. We've also created an image gallery on our Pinterest page.
Project Matrix pricing compares against the online published price list, where available. We do not request quotes from the manufacturer. All files have a disclaimer, and PDF files produced will have a print date for pricing reference.
Yes! During our consultation call, your project manager will show you examples of past projects, and how they incorporate with the MRL extension and CET.
We provide renderings in jpeg format. Finishes are neutral with a white background and floor with minimal shadows.
Neutral renderings are best for designer usage, however, you can add additional modeling (walls, floor, lighting) at an hourly design rate. Check out our Portfolio page for examples of our modeled renderings.
